Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission

Prior to submission, authors are requested to familiarize themselves with the journal policies mentioned on the Journal of Technology Research’s website. All manuscripts and other files must be submitted online through the journal website.

Initially, the author is required to provide ONLY TWO ITEMS:

The article’s metadata (authors, affiliations, keywords, etc.)

One unidentifiable manuscript document (with embedded tables/figures, not necessarily high resolution)

After final acceptance, the author is required to upload the following:

• A file that includes the article’s plain text
• A title page
• A separate file for each figure (high-resolution images)
• A separate file for each table
• A file containing the list of figure and table legends
• A file including the list of references with DOIs when possible

 Article Types

 1. Original Research

Publishes original research articles of high scientific merit in Engineering and Technology. Manuscript should be divided into: Abstract/Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, References, Table & Figure Legends, Tables and Figures.

• Word count (Introduction → Conclusion): max 3500
• Up to 6 authors
• Up to 10 high-quality figures/tables
• Up to 25 references

2. Systematic Review & Meta-analysis

Main text: up to 6000 words

Up to 6 authors

Up to 100 references

 3. Technique

Non-structured abstract: up to 150 words

Word count (Introduction → Conclusion): max 2500

 Technique section must be numbered, step-by-step in command form

4. Letter to Editor

Letters should not exceed 750 words. Published at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.

Manuscript Preparation

 Formatting

Use the journal’s official manuscript format.

Language: clear Arabic or American English.

Title Page

Title: Times New Roman, 16 pt, Bold.

Author names + institutional affiliations.

Corresponding author marked with (\).

Full contact details must be included.

If presented at a conference, note details at bottom.

Figures

Embed in initial submission.

Final submission: each figure uploaded separately (TIF, PNG, JPEG – 300–600 dpi).

Text inside figures: Helvetica, minimum 10 pt.

Number figures in order of appearance (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, …).

Multiple subpanels must be submitted as separate figure files (e.g., Fig. 1A, Fig. 1B).

 Tables

Clear, without repeating the text.

Numbered sequentially (Table 1, Table 2, …).

Submit each table as a separate file after acceptance.

Descriptive column/row headings; omit internal horizontal/vertical lines.

Define abbreviations beneath the table.

Table & Figure Legends

• Group legends on a separate page after the references.
• Legends must be concise and descriptive.

 References

Numbered by order of appearance (\[1], \[2], \[3–4]).

Provide full information: authors (up to 6), title, journal (Index Medicus style), year, volume, pages.

Include DOI/URL where available.

Unpublished data or abstracts are not accepted.

 Acknowledgments

Acknowledge individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria.

Declare all funding sources (organization + grant number).
